Work includes:

Welcome and prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort 

Set up and sterilize instruments and materials

Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry

Take dental x-rays 

Perform cleanings, oral hygiene instruction, and post-op care 

Maintain a sterile and well-stocked operatory or exam room
