We are looking for a part time RDH needed for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (Position available immediately). Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00pm with one hour appointments at a Prosthodontic practice.
Team oriented, friendly staff; great office and boss!
Dentrix and Dexis knowledge helpful but not mandatory.
Will be required to take check up x-rays, co-diagnose periodontal disease, co-diagnose restorative needs, treat healthy to diseased Perio., set up and break down hygiene rooms, maintain instruments, sterilization.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs.
- Perform dental cleanings and apply preventive materials as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for patient management.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide guidance on maintaining optimal dental health.
- Ensure the cleanliness and sterility of the treatment area by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional care in pediatric dentistry and general dentistry settings.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and procedures to enhance patient care.
Requirements
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
- Experience in a dental office or clinic setting preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and documentation review processes.
- Strong skills in patient care, assessment, and chairside assisting.
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment while providing compassionate care to patients.
